Terms of Service

Social Cruise Control — a service of Temes Consulting Inc. · Last updated July 23, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Social Cruise Control ("SCC," "we," "us"), a done-for-you social media management and lead-capture service for dealerships and other local businesses ("you," "Client"). By starting a trial, purchasing a plan, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. Questions: stevet@socialcruisecontrol.io.

The short version of the billing terms — this is the part most people want:

1. What the service is

We create social media content for your business, schedule it, and publish it to the accounts you connect, on the plan you select. You review and approve content in the app. We also monitor connected accounts for buying-intent comments and messages and surface them to you as leads. Feature availability depends on your plan tier; the current tier features are listed on socialcruisecontrol.io.

2. Free trials

3. Plans, billing, and automatic renewal

Prices are stated on our website at the time you purchase. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

Plan typeHow you are chargedDoes it auto-renew?
Monthly Charged the plan price on the day you sign up, then on the same day of each following month. Yes — automatically, every month, until you cancel.
Yearly Charged the plan price on the day you sign up, then on that same date every 12 months. Yes — automatically, every 12 months, until you cancel.
Founders (3-year) A single up-front payment covering a 3-year term. No. It never renews on its own and you are never charged again. We will contact you before the term ends so you can decide whether to continue.

Automatic renewal, stated plainly: if you are on a Monthly or Yearly plan, your subscription continues and your payment method is charged the then-current plan price at the start of each new billing period, with no further action by you, until you cancel it. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee on these plans.

Acknowledgment. When you purchase, we email you a confirmation that restates your renewal terms, the amount, the billing frequency, and how to cancel. Keep it — it is your record of the terms you agreed to.

Renewal reminders. For Yearly plans, we email you a reminder before each annual renewal. For Founders plans, we contact you before the 3-year term ends. Monthly plans are charged on a predictable monthly date and every charge produces an emailed receipt from Stripe.

Price changes. We may change plan prices. Any change takes effect only at your next renewal, and we will email you at least 30 days beforehand. If you don't want the new price, cancel before that renewal date and you will not be charged it.

Failed payments. If a charge fails, Stripe retries it and we may pause content publishing until the account is current. We'll email you before and during that process. A prolonged failure may result in cancellation of the plan.

4. How to cancel

In the app: open Social Cruise Control → tap Manage billing → tap Cancel plan. That is the entire process. It is self-service, immediate, and available in the same place — and by the same means — that you used to sign up.

If you would rather not use the app, email stevet@socialcruisecontrol.io or call (561) 728-0552 and we will cancel it for you. We will not require you to sit through a retention pitch, and we will confirm the cancellation in writing.

5. Refunds

6. Your account and your content

7. Acceptable use

Don't use SCC to publish anything unlawful, deceptive, discriminatory, or that violates a social platform's rules — including false advertising, undisclosed material terms on a financing or lease offer, or content that infringes someone else's rights. We may refuse or remove content, and may suspend an account, for these reasons.

8. Third-party platforms

The service depends on Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube and similar platforms. Those platforms set their own rules, rate limits, and outages, and can change or revoke access without notice. We are not responsible for a platform's decisions about your account, and a platform outage is not a failure to deliver the service — though we will always work with you to recover from one.

9. Service levels and disclaimers

We work hard to publish on schedule, but we do not guarantee any specific reach, engagement, lead volume, or sales result. Social media outcomes depend on factors outside our control. Except as expressly stated here, the service is provided "as is."

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will email you and post it here with a new "last updated" date before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the change. Changes to renewal or cancellation terms will never be applied retroactively to a period you have already paid for.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in this section removes any right you have under the consumer-protection laws of the state where you live or do business, including any state automatic-renewal statute.
